About the event

Thursday, November 20, is The Transgender Day of Remembrance.

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is an annual day to honour and remember those who have been murdered or took their own lives due to anti-trans violence and prejudice. TDoR is also a day for allies to raise awareness of the prevalence of anti-trans violence and honour the resilience of trans community members.

A service and candlelight vigil will be held at Knox United Church in Brandon on November 20th.

The service is from 12:00pm -1:00pm. Light lunch, community booths, and reception to follow.

The service will be live-streamed on Knox United's YouTube channel, The Knox Konnexion (https:// www.youtube.com/@TheKnoxKonnexion).

The candlelight vigil is from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. We will be gathering outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Snacks and reception to follow.
