We are proud to host a flag raising ceremony to recognize Two Spirit and Indigenous LGBTQIA+ Celebration and Awareness Day on March 20th in front of Brandon City Hall, starting at 10:00AM, during the Spring Equinox.

Two Spirit and Indigenous LGBTQIA+ Celebration and Awareness Day is an opportunity to honour the strength, resilience, and contributions of Two Spirit and Indigenous LGBTQIA+ individuals within our community in Brandon and beyond. This will be the third time the 2 Spirit flag has been flown at City Hall and this event formally acknowledged in the city of Brandon.

Community members, leaders, and allies are all invited to attend and show their support. The ceremony will begin with a smudge, words from community advocates, a proclamation signing, and the flag raising with the 2 Spirit flag design by artist Patrick Hunter.
